Since 2002, Bell Partners has completed over $16 billion of apartment transactions on behalf of its investors and partners. The fund platform was created in 2006 and, since that time, six funds with total equity commitments of $1.5 billion have been launched and substantially invested on behalf of institutional and high net worth investors. Bell's disciplined approach to investment management has produced a track record of favorable returns. As of December 2019, the Company has sold 250 apartment properties for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $7.6 billion resulting in a levered IRR and equity multiple of 17.5% and 2.1x (net of fees).
